Over the last 5 months, I’ve been working with an incredible team at Ryse Network to produce a podcast dedicated to amplifying the voices of Asian professionals as they explore the intricacies of growing up: careers, relationships, family, and everything else. Today, I’m proud to announce that Ryse Network’s podcast, Ganbei, has officially launched! This marks the first podcast to be released under the YIBSY Laboratories label, hopefully one of many more to come.

Co-hosted by Ryse Network founder Karl Chen and content lead Linda Nguyen, Ganbei dives into the stories of leaders, thinkers, innovators, and creators from the global Asian community through a casual, drink-themed lens (after all, “ganbei” means “cheers” or “bottoms-up” in Mandarin!) Join them for a round as they explore what it means to be Asian, understand multiple cultures, and navigate uncertainties, failures, and successes with their guests!

Ganbei’s trailer is now available here on Anchor and mirrored on all major podcast streaming platforms. A shoutout to everyone at Ryse Network and elsewhere who helped this project take off — executive producers Christian Avendano and Dorothy Ng, cover art designer Cathleen Sun, original music composer/producer Michael Azuma, and the Ryse media team Taylor Moy, Jessica Cornel, & Niki Pham. This project would not have been possible without the contributions of these wonderful people.
